Nearly 70 speakers and 300 participants gathered on the HEC Paris campus in early May for the 6th edition of the school’s annual social business conference.

The event, hosted by the students of the HEC Paris MBA program, in partnership with Net Impact, has over the years grown into a premier platform for discussion and interaction between engaged students and inspiring professionals from a multitude of different backgrounds and perspectives and this year the dialogue was centered around the three carefully chosen themes of: Resource Cultivation, Poverty Reduction and the Drivers of Change.

The two days were filled with auditorium addresses, interactive panel sessions, networking events and presented ample opportunity for everyone involved to gain a deeper understanding of some of the world’s most complex challenges – poverty, climate change, water scarcity, energy security and development issues – as well as to take away lessons on how conscious leaders emerging today can make a true impact tomorrow, irrespective of their chosen field or capacity.
